Technetium climbed into the small voot cruiser with Skoodge, who in turn stared at her a moment, "Are you feeling well? Do you need anything? If you want I can get you a pillow or something. Or would that be too much? I mean-"
"Skoodge please, the mission." Technetium sighed.
"Yes ma'am!" Skoodge saluted.

Yin stared at the Voot Cruiser for a moment, then hopped in, giggling when Zim squeaked in shock. She then sighed as GIR, Zim's stupid little SIR unit - which was clearly malfunctional - started screaming again. Her own SIR unit, a different colour but still not normal, then joined in. She groaned, slamming her head against the space in front of her. It would be a long, long day.

The voot cruiser started, and Technetium stared out the window, amazed.
"Have you ever been in a Voot Cruiser?" Asked Skoodge, as he watched her.
"No, never!" Exclaimed Technetium.

Zim started to work the controls and Yin watched, unimpressed. After a moment of him sitting looking confused, she rolled her eyes and pushed a button, making the Voot Cruiser start up. He blinked, mumbling something under his breath. She grinned.
"Sorry, what was that?"
"Zim said: mmmam mmoo."
"Didn't quite catch that."
"Zim said thank you!" He shouted, then glared forward, sulking. She chuckled and set the directions into place, blocking out the screaming for now. Once they were set, she turned to GIR and her SIR.
"You two - will you please be quiet?" She asked gently.
They nodded, finally shutting up.
"Now, let us rain some doom down upon the filthy heads of our doomed enemies!" She heard Zim say.
"I'm gonna sing the Doom Song now!" GIR screamed, then began singing. Yin glared at Zim, who rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

Technetium stared out the window in silence, before turning to Skoodge, "I'm sorry about me having to be on your mission with you."
"No, it's quite alright." Skoodge smirked, "Nothings better than having a beautiful female, and a mission."
Technetium stared at him a moment before saying, "Uh- yeah?"

Yin had to shout over GIR and SIR now, because they'd become a 'duet'.
"Zim!" She screamed, still only just heard. "Make them stop!"
"How?" He replied, in something not dissimilar to his talking voice.
"I dunno - just do something!"
Suddenly she spotted Technetium and Skoodge's Voot. Grabbing the controls, she steered so that they were gliding next to them.
'Technetium? Technetium, can you hear me?'

'Yes,' Technetium paused, 'I can.'

Yin groaned and glared at the SIRs before replying.
'We got two malfunctioning SIR units and they're giving me a headache! I can hardly hear myself think.'

Technetium frowned, 'I got an Irken who is hopelessly in love with me... So we've both got pretty bad issues...'

Yin cried out in shock as her SIR latched onto her head, still making noise. She sat there for a moment, a true glare settling in her eyes, then grabbed it and put it on Zim's head. He blinked and stared at her, and soon they were having an extremely loud argument. As they did so, she spoke mentally to Technetium whenever he was speaking.
'Sounds bad, but not nearly as bad as being with an idiot like Zim. He gets into tantrums so easily - all I did was take my SIR unit off my head and put it on his. And now he's screaming about it. Such an idiot.'

'Agreed.' Technetium frowned.

Yin glanced over at Technetium's expression. After shouting at Zim some more, she yelled a 'shut up', then went back to her thoughts.
'Something wrong?'

'No... Just thinking of someone is all.' Technetium transmitted back.

Yin blinked, ignoring Zim for now.
'Some... one?'

Technetium blushed, 'Uh- yeah...'

Yin blinked, trying to keep her thoughts hidden. But she couldn't help but notice the blush and wonder if Technetium... liked anyone.
She glanced at Zim, desperately trying to keep her thoughts back, but couldn't help it. As she watched him, still shouting, she realised she'd missed him more than she'd cared to think about. He was among the only Irkens she knew that could make her laugh. And that's what she did.
As he shouted, she suddenly started giggling. He stopped and looked at her, confusion in those big, rose-coloured eyes. She grinned as he begun shouting again, now ignoring her.
"You know how annoying you are, right?" She laughed, and he suddenly tackled her. She screamed in shock, still laughing, remembering they used to do this when they were little. Did Zim remember? She'd doubted it before, but now she wondered if he really did.

Technetium smiled at the two. She now knew that they had been a sort of friends. She hated how Yin was disparately trying to hide her thoughts, but she did not hate Yin for it. No, she hated herself. . .
Technetium read from Zim's thoughts, though how hard it was to do, that he had missed being rough with Yin. . . Technetium smiled, 'Yin, he missed you too.'

Yin blinked as Technetium's voice entered her head, but simply smiled as she continued play-fighting with Zim.
'Thank you.'

Technetium grinned, satisfied. 'I will try to keep touch with you. I will contact you every day! Count on it!' Technetium transmitted, as Skoodge began to drive off, towards Blorch.

'Awesome. Bye!'
Suddenly Zim pinned her, and she squeaked in indignity. Pushing hard, she knocked him down until she was sitting on him, grinning. Then she realised that the SIRs were cheering, and she took a couple of mini bows. Getting off Zim, she took the steering wheel in her hands and began manoeuvring away.
